Refund Policy

1. General Policy

Achievers Publishing Inc. provides customized publishing and production services.
Due to the nature of these services, refund eligibility is limited.

By purchasing any service, the Author acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.

2. Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally non-refundable once work has commenced:

• Manuscript formatting

• Cover design

• Editing or proofreading

• ISBN assignment

• Barcode generation

• Metadata setup

• Distribution activation

• Marketing services

• Custom design services

• Consulting services

Once production work has begun, fees are considered earned.

3. Digital & Intellectual Services

Publishing services involve:

• Time investment

• Intellectual labor

• Custom digital file creation

Because these services cannot be “returned,” payments for completed or partially completed work are non-refundable.

4. Package Payments

If a Publishing Package has been purchased:

4.1 Before Work Has Begun

A refund may be considered, less:

• Administrative fee

• Payment processor fees

• Consultation fees (if applicable)

4.2 After Work Has Begun

Refunds are not available once:

• Formatting has started

• Design work has begun

• ISBN has been assigned

• Distribution setup has commenced

5. Printed Books & Author Copies

Printed books are non-refundable except in cases of:

• Manufacturing defect

• Printing error attributable to the printer

Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

We do not provide refunds for:

• Author-approved proof errors

• Content mistakes

• Design changes after approval

• Over-ordering by the Author

6. Revisions Are Not Refunds

Requests for corrections after approval are governed by the Revisions & Corrections Policy.

Revision fees do not qualify for refunds once processed.

7. Cancellation Policy

If the Author cancels a project:

• All completed work must be paid in full

• Any outstanding balance remains payable

• Files may be archived or deleted

• Distribution may be deactivated

8. Payment Processing Fees

Transaction fees charged by:

• Credit card processors

• PayPal

• Banking institutions

are non-refundable.

Any refund issued will be less such processing fees.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without prior written dispute resolution constitutes a breach of agreement.

If a chargeback is initiated:

• Services may be suspended

• Distribution may be halted

• Legal recovery costs may be pursued

We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve concerns before disputing charges.

10. Exceptions

Refund exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of Achievers Publishing in cases of:

• Service non-performance

• Technical impossibility

• Documented internal error

All such determinations are final.

11. Limitation Of Liability

Total refund liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in dispute.

We are not liable for:

• Lost profits

• Delayed launches

• Market performance

• Retail decisions

12. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
